Can too much lemon juice be harmful?

Asked 2 years ago

This one is for the gentlemen in this community: I'm looking for a citrus juice that I can drink for my enlarged prostate. I love lemon juice, so I want to give it a shot. One thing though, is it possible to drink too much?

Yes, it's possible to drink too much lemon juice and this can lead to acid reflux, GERD, heartburn, and worsening stomach ulcers if you have those. Orange, tangerine, and grapefruit juices are great alternatives to lemon juice and contain almost similar levels of vitamin C. You could try tomato juice and green tea which are also great for prostate health.
