How do I empty my bladder with an enlarged prostate?

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has experienced this frustration. To those who have also had an enlarged prostate gland, how on earth did you pee?

Many men with enlarged prostates have problems completely emptying the bladder when peeing. Some of the techniques that may help include:
Double voiding where you pee as much as possible and relax for a few minutes before peeing again.
Peeing every three to four hours and giving yourself plenty of time to go.
Relaxing when peeing as stressing out can make things worse.
Some men find it helps to sit rather than stand when peeing.
Leaning forward and rocking may also help.
