Which green tea is good for enlarged prostate?

Asked 2 years ago

Hi guys, I'm looking for an alternative to alpha-blocker medication. How about green tea? Would that help?

Green tea has been found to help manage an enlarged prostate. It contains polyphenols which are antioxidants and also have an anti-inflammatory effect on the body. The best green tea to try would be Matcha tea, however, it contains caffeine so it may not be suitable for everyone. Other natural drinks you could try for an enlarged prostate include tomato juice or citrus fruit juices including lemon, orange and lime juice.

Does green tea help an enlarged prostate? Yeah it does actually. There is a tea called Matcha available on the market and its the highest grade green tea you can find. However be careful, as it contains caffeine and that might be an issue with many people on diets or other issues. Hibiscus tea is also a good choice as it has antioxidants that are quite potent.

Yes, thanks to the antioxidants it contains, green tea has been found helpful in managing an enlarged prostate. These antioxidants work in the body to reduce the levels of the hormone that contributes to the growth of the prostate. While any green tea would be beneficial, the best one is matcha tea. However, it contains caffeine which may not be suitable for those with an enlarged prostate. You could also try hibiscus tea or tomato juice.
