Are there natural sources of biotin and collagen?
Asked 2 years ago
I've never been keen on taking pill supplements. I believe that as long as the vitamin or mineral is found in nature then I should consume it that way. So I have the following question to ask- Are there natural sources of biotin and collagen?

Biotin, also known as vitamin B7, is found in foods such as avocados, sweet potatoes, dairy products, nuts, seeds, egg yolks, mushrooms, beans, bananas or whole grains. Collagen is a bit trickier because there aren't clear food sources except maybe bone broth or gelatin. Other than collagen supplements, you can take a wide range of protein-rich foods e.g. dairy, eggs, meat or fish to get the amino acids needed for collagen production.
