Asked 2 years ago
I am starting my journey with biotin to prevent hair loss and hopefully thicken my hair. What is the recommended dosage I should take to see the fast results?

While the FDA doesn't have a daily recommended allowance for biotin, it's been found that adults who are 19 years and older require a daily intake of 30mcg (micrograms). However, this is the total daily intake required from all sources of biotin, including food sources. If taking it in supplement form, then the recommended dose is 2-5mg (milligrams) daily.
