How do you stop nail fungus from spreading?

Hey guys, I've picked up a toenail fungus and I'm so worried that I spread it to the rest of my family in the house. We use the same shower, I co-sleep with one of my children and one likes to climb into my shoes. What do I do?

You can start by wearing shoes around the house and wiping down the floors, showers, and any other high-risk surfaces using an antifungal detergent. Wash your sheets and socks with hot water and an antifungal laundry detergent. Disinfect and air out your shoes and exchange them daily.  It's also a good idea to keep them where your children can't reach them.
