How do you increase collagen naturally?

I recently found out that I have a collagen deficiency. As someone who generally doesn't like taking pills, I'm needing to find other avenues to increase my collagen naturally. Does anybody know which foods contain an abundance of collagen?

Collagen isn't found naturally in foods like other nutrients. Your body has to synthesize it from the food you eat. To increase your collagen levels in the body, you need to eat foods that boost collagen production including chicken, fish, beans, nuts and egg whites. Vitamin C also helps in collagen formation so citrus fruits, berries, yellow or red vegetables and garlic should make up part of your diet.
