  • Avoid trans fats
  • Eat heart-healthy food like leafy green vegetables and whole grains
  • Add omega-3 fatty acids to your diet
  • Increase intake of soluble fiber
  • Exercise regularly
  • Quit smoking
  • Limit alcohol intake
