What should you not drink with an enlarged prostate?

Asked 2 years ago

Hello, I have been struggling with an enlarged prostate for about a month now, and I'm aware of the basics on how certain foods can negatively or positively affect the body. I think I would probably have to change my diet to not do myself in any further. Does anyone here know what I should and should not be drinking?

Having an enlarged prostate may make it difficult to completely empty your bladder. It's therefore advisable to limit your intake of coffee and alcohol as both are diuretics and will cause the production of more urine.

Instead, try and take more green tea, tomato juice, fresh citrus fruit juice and water. These have been found beneficial for prostate health.
