Is forgetting names a normal part of aging?
Asked 2 years ago
I've been starting to forget the names of people I just meant, and I used to be very good at remembering them. Is this normal for a 50-something-year-old?

Yes it is. There is a difference between aging forgetfulness and serious forgetfulness. Forget a name every now and then or forget where you put your keys, that's fine its just a sign you're getting on in years. If however you are having difficulty remembering how to drive or stopping to think in the middle of a sentence, that's the sign of something more serious.
