Is it best to take Saw Palmetto orally or topically?
Asked 2 years ago
I went to a doctor for my hair loss, and he recommended I try Saw Palmetto. I'm posting my question here because I'm hoping to find out which would be the most effective form to use it in.

Saw palmetto is effective in preventing hair loss and stimulating hair growth. It can be taken orally as a supplement or applied topically as part of your hair care routine. If using it topically, a lot of it may get washed away unless you use it as a leave-in treatment. For this reason, taking it orally may provide better results. Confirm the dosage with your doctor and take it with food to avoid getting any digestive discomfort.
