How do you use thymol for nail fungus?

Asked 2 years ago

I read that thymol could be a good remedy for a toenail fungus, but I don't know where to find any or how to use it. Once I have found it, how do I use it? Should I soak my feet in a tub of water with the thymol, or do I apply it directly?

Thymol is a great essential oil to use on toenail fungus. To use it, start by cleaning and drying the affected area. Then using a dropper, apply 1-2 drops of thymol to the affected toenail. You can choose to cover the area with a bandaid. Alternatively, get a mixture of 4% thymol in alcohol and apply it twice a day to get rid of the fungus.

Follow the directions on the bottle or packaging. Usually it is to use a dropper and apply two drops to the affected nail area twice daily. Make sure to clean and dry the affected area before you do this. You will need to continue to do this until the fungal infection has completely faded away.
