Is it safe to take collagen with vitamin C?
Asked 2 years ago
I want to start taking collagen with vitamin C. I have found a powder that has all the skin and immune system benefits that I'm looking for and am excited to start taking it. I just want to know if the combination of vitamin C and collagen is safe to take?

Yes, it is safe to take collagen with vitamin C, in fact, it's recommended. This is because vitamin C is required for the production and maintenance of collagen in the body. It is one of the components needed for the production of pro-collagen, which is a precursor to collagen. Vitamin C also helps bind collagen fibers together in the body. Just make sure that you're taking collagen in form of collagen peptides or hydrolyzed collagen for better absorption.
