Is avocado good for your memory?
Asked 2 years ago
Hi all, my brother has started getting dementia, and his memory is slowly going to pot. Will feeding him some avocado help improve his memory, even if it's just a little bit?

Yes, avocados are great for the brain. They are a rich source of monounsaturated fatty acids that promote blood flow and also help nourish the brain nerves that are vital for carrying information. Additionally, monounsaturated fats help improve the brain's capacity to control muscles and also have neuroprotective abilities. Taking one avocado daily may help boost memory and slow cognitive decline.
